The end of the Portuguese rule in Dadra Nagar Haveli in 1954 was the beginning of a new era for the people living in this small territory in south Gujarat. The film tells the story how the life of a progressive farmer changed as a result of Government help by way of loans for agricultural purpose. The film highlights the facts that unless the people themselves face the realities and work for a better future, any amount of Govt. help and assistance will not help improve the condition of anyone in the country.
