Purushottam Das Tandon

A biographical film is on Purushottam Das Tandon, a fighter for India's freedom and for the cause of peasants. Tandon was inspired by the nationalists such as Gokhale and Tilak. His immediate guru was Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. Tandon gave up his legal practice and plunged into the freedom movement. As an educationist, Tandon worked hard to spread adult education. He also fought for making Hindi a national language. He was elected President of the Indian National Congress after independence. The nation's greatest honour, the Bharat Ratna was bestowed on him in 1961.

Sree Narayana Guru

Through his life and teachings, Sree Narayana Guru propagated a simple truth "One Religion, One God" and started the greatest social revolution in Kerala.

A biographical film is covering the life of the Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Mahatma Gandhi called her Priyadarshini. Indira Gandhi was profoundly influenced by his father's writing as indicated in this film. She received the Bharat Ratna, India's highest honour.

Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar

A biographical film about Babasaheb Ambedkar, the chief architect of the Constitution of India. Dr. Ambedkar dedicated his life to the cause of the downtrodden. Born of humble parents, Bhimrao the 14th child of an army subedar had his primary schooling in Dapoli in Konkan and at Satara in Maharashtra. Aided by scholarships, brilliant Bhimrao attended college in Bombay. Later he went to Columbia University in New York. He set up his legal practice in Bombay High Court in 1924. As a member of the Bombay Legislative Assembly, an active public career was already in the making.

Badshan Khan

A biographical film is on Khan Abdul Ghafar Khan (Badshah Khan). He was also lovingly known as the Frontier Gandhi. This film highlights Badshah Khan's visit to India, when he came to receive the Jawaharlal Nehru Memorial Award for International Understanding. This Award was handed over to Badshah Khan by India's President, Mr. V. V. Giri in 1967. Mahatma Gandhi respected Badshah Khan for his firm belief in the non-violent movement.
