  • Telecom Regulatory Authority of India today recommended allowing mobile and Internet services for passengers during air travel in the country through both satellite and terrestrial network.In its recommendation, the authority said, Internet and Mobile Communication on Aircraft service should be permitted as In-Flight Connectivity in the Indian airspace.

  • In Jammu and Kashmir, A BSF jawan was martyred, two civilians were killed and nineteen others including two BSF jawans got injured as Pakistan's forces today again resorted to heavy mortar shelling along the International Border and Line of Control in four bordering districts of Jammu region. Defence sources told AIR that Pakistani forces early morning resorted to unprovoked shelling in Arnia and R S Pura sectors of Jammu and also targeted villages and hamlets in Ramgarh sector of Samba and Hiranagar sector of Kathua.
